When will this go into affect?
How much will it effect pay? Will it all be maerit based? Will it be half merit and half salary?
How little can they pay you if you do poorly?
How will they determine the pay?
Will it be different if you have a high population of special needs students in your class?

Essay 4--What Do I Know??
Merit Pay for Teachers:
Pros:
-if you work hard, your hard work will pay off
-if you are a new teacher, you don't have to wait a long time to get a raise

Cons:
-students with learning disabilities
-students with behavior problems
-students who do not do well on tests can all hinder your pay
